Our kitchen is known for producing tasty dishes which use local products and fresh ingredients. You can enjoy your meal, and the beautiful view of the Sognefjord, from our cosy restaurant and sunny terrace. You can choose the dish of the day, the menu of the day or a dish from our a la carte menu. All gatherings, large or small are welcome. You can celebrate any event in our hotel; birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms or weddings. Your wishes are our command. Please contact us for more information. The kitchen is open between noon and 8.30 pm during the summer months. We have different opening times the rest of the year.

’THINGS TO ENJOY IN AND AROUND LAVIK’ BICYCLING Lavik Fjord Hotel offers comfortable rental bicycles. The bicycle routes in the area are suited both for experienced cyclists and for enthusiastic newbies. CANOEING Enjoy, while canoeing, the untouched nature and wonderful quiet of the Lavikdal and lake Sørestrand. HIKING Lavik is a great starting point for hiking and boasts about 40 different well-marked trails in its immediate surroundings. TERRACE Unwind with a beverage in our bar or on our sunny terrace with beautiful views of the Sognefjord. EXPLORE BY BOAT Lavik is a great starting point from which to explore the Sognefjord by boat. PHOTOGRAPHY Explore the Sogn og Fjordane and find hidden gems in the area, just waiting to be photographed. SWIMMING Go for a refreshing dip in the fjord or in one of the lakes in the mountains. Enjoy the crisp mountain air in this untouched part of Norway. FISHING We have excellent fishing possibilities, either from the shoreline or a small boat. A permit is not necessary.
